Ribcaged are the Ribble Valley’s very own professional theatre company. Born in Ribchester in 2005, the company is passionate about writing and performing new pieces of drama. They truly are a community theatre company, constantly seeking opportunities to provide work for emerging local artists in the Ribble Valley itself. For the last three years Ribcaged have worked in collaboration with the Grand Venue in Clitheroe. The most powerful outcome that has resulted from this partnership is the opportunity it has brought for local young people to work with, and then perform on stage alongside professional actors. In many ways this has helped to shape a revised vision for the company.
