Blacksmiths at Trapp Forge have been taking inspiration from their rural surroundings near Pendle Hill for over 50 years. Current owner Bill Carter is a second generation blacksmith trained in traditional techniques who has worked with private clients, architects and businesses to create unique hand-forged items for indoor and outdoor settings.
Trapp Forge has been entrusted with a range of public arts and heritage restoration projects, from stately homes and cathedrals to work for members of the royal family.
The Forge Showroom re-opened in November 2015 to provide a space to view items made on site at the Forge as well as a carefully selected range of gifts. We aim to keep a small selection of hand-forged pieces in stock, but we generally work on commission pieces and we’re always happy to discuss client ideas.
